my future studies

Hello everyone, today I will talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider take in the future, I would like to do a specialization because I wouldn’t like to work only like a dentist all my life, the specializations that I like are maxillofacial surgery and legal odontology, but for now I like more legal odontology or forensic odontology.

When I finished my career I would like to have an area in forensic odontology because I would like to work in the morgue, in this job I could know the reason of the death of a person and I could identify the identity of the corpse. I like this area because I really like the genetic and medicine and if I work in this I could be like the forensic of CSI and solve crimes.

I plan to do this specialty out of the country because I would like to discover other cultures and landscapes and also because this specialty is new in Chile so I couldn’t find work immediately so the best decision is to find something out of the country.

I would like to study in a part-time course but in person because I want some of time for work or maybe make other things, and I think that the best way to learn is to do it in person since you can solve your doubts, etc.

My future job

Hello everyone today I will talk about my future job, the first thing that I want to make after finishing the career is find work, because in the country there are many dentists.  I would like to work as legal dentistry and make investigations but first I have that finish my career and make as specialization in legal odontology, or I would like to make the specialization in maxillofacial surgery. I am not sure about that I want it for the future but I want to make a specialization because I wouldn`t like to work only as dentist all my life.

Something I am sure is that I don’t want to work in an office in front of a computer; I would like to travel a lot and work in different countries and cities like voluntary, in many of the voluntary work, give you a place where you can stay and give you the food, I think  that this should be an amazing experience and the same time you help people and meet new people, obviously I also need a work that gives me a salary because all the people need money to live but I want to live different experience.

I don’t know what will happen in the future because I don’t like to make plans, maybe I am not even going to work as a dentist or with the time I don’t like this specialization and I will want another one.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE

Hello everyone today I will tell you about my favorite movie called “I origins”, I love this movie because I like the plot and the themes that it covers reincarnation and science, and I also like the musical repertoire a lot, and finally and it makes you think and meditate on many spiritual themes.

The film is about a molecular biologist who studies the human eye, and he does not believe in anything spiritual o religious, but he falls in love with a girl, called Sophia with beliefs and tastes totally different from his, but she at the time dies in an accident. For a series of events and thanks to a machine, which he built and uses in his son, he begins to believe in reincarnation and begins to make scientific proofs about it and finally discovers something incredible.

The film was released in 2014 and it was written, produced and directed by Mike Cahill, and My favorite scene was when he found a girl who had the same iris as the woman he had fallen in love and he realizes that the girl is a reincarnation of the woman he had loved, since they test her and the girl is very afraid of the elevators, just like Sophia who had died in one.

I don’t have a favorite line of an actor but I love this movie and I have seen it more than 30 times.

A TEACHER THAT HAS INSPIRED ME

Hello today I am going to talk to you about a teacher whom I admire. I think it inspired me to be a better person and to think in a different way, I met him when he went to the
high school when he started working there as a history teacher, his name was camilo.

He was my history teacher I know he has nothing related to dentistry or anything but he was a very kind and intelligent person, for him the most important thing was to help the people who needed it, he had only studied pedagogy to help, and educate children to those who needed it most , he said that the only way to change the country and the world was that we all have knowledge of what was happening, and that we were prepared and able to find solutions and education was the key. Before, I always believed that history was not a very necessary subject, but he always said that one can learn from the mistakes people had made in the past.

He only taught me a few months since he wanted to do classes where they were most needed and then went to work in rural schools, I think a great dreamer, I hope that one day many people think like him.

The best holidays ever

Hi everyone, today I will talk about my best holidays, it was when I was 18 years old in 2018. It was a summer holidays, I toured all  my region, the region of Aysén with my friends, we were one month backpacking,  I met almost every place and I saw many beautiful places, that I didn’t know that it had, like the one on the right photo, it is hill castle it is beautiful.

I liked many places but one of the most beautiful places where I had been was the hanging snowdrift which is in the national park Queulat, but the road for arriving is scary because it wasn’t paved is just gravel and is so narrow, and there is a precipice for a side.

When I arrived there, there were two pathways at the entrance one of them was a path of one kilometer for where you arrived to a lake and saw the hanging snowdrift from below, we wanted this path but we were wrong and went for the other path which was of three kilometer on the rise, but it was worth it because from above the snowdrift looks spectacular, and the path while I climbed I met many people.

For me this holiday was the best because I saw beautiful places and many animals, I met my region and I had many experience since I was backpacking for this was a travel so different and I met many people of different countries because the region is a very touristic place.

the country that I would like to visit

Hi everyone I would like to tell you what country I would   like to meet, I would like to go to France, because I love the language and I think that it has beautiful places to visit.

France is a country full of history, and it has many places where you can know more about its culture, the architecture is amazing their big monuments like gothic cathedrals, the castles of Loira where you can make a route and know beautiful buildings. Also in France there are a lot of variety of tourist places for all kind of people, there are beaches and you can find the Alps Mountain where you can ski. I like their culture because they worry so much about their heritage. And of course I would like to taste their food because many people say that the French food is exquisite.

I would like to learn to speak French and I would like to visit the castle of Chambord and all the castle of Loira, I really like all the architecture of France, and I would like visit the small towns because I think that it has a colonial style and the people say that people of France is so educated and nice.

I am not sure if I would like to live there for a long time, because I don’t like staying long time in any place but I would like to work for a while, to learn more about them and meet new people.

The last blog

It is the last blog, honestly I like writing about things that I used to do in my normal life  but writing in English is something difficult because it is so different to writing in spanish, the order of the words changes, and you should be careful with the grammar, sometimes I can’t find the words to express myself, or the other problem is when the topic is something that I don’t like to write about so it is more difficult. The good side is that with time this problem became less difficult for me and I learned new words. I feel that I learn so much in this time and now i can write faster.

In the future I would like to write blogs about things that i really like but now I dont have time and when I arrive to my house I only want to sleep. I would like to write about different things like, my favourite food or my favourite music, etc.

I wouldn’t like to include something in the future because writing a blog is a easy and simple way of learning English, and  I think that is so necessary for the future, because in any Jobs maybe you will have to write in English.

A Book I’ve Enjoyed Reading

Hello, today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite books, called "factotum" is the second book of three autobiographical books by Charles Bukowski, which is published in 1975. The first is Post Office and the third is Women.

I like it a lot because it is very crude to tell the reality, and talks about how routine work is and how he loses each one and the stories and things that happen to him.

This book is about his alter ego named Henry, who is an alcoholic and unemployed and was rejected to go to World War II, he looks for a job that does not stand between him and the writing, and begins a great journey of a job to another of which he is dismissed or resigned because he is bored, as this happens he knows and stays in different places and goes to meet different people and women with whom he is related, in addition to having different problems. They are produced by the lack of money and also because he is an alcoholic and spends a lot of time in bars and canteens, in which different stories of society and how they lived in those times are related.

Charles Butoski is one of my favorite authors. I hope that some of you will read some of his books sometime.

My favourite subject

Hi everyone, one of the subjects that i like most is skills, this is a of the subjects that brings your closer to dentristry, because in it you learn many clinical procedures performed by the dentist, the materials and instrument used in these, also this subject have a part where you do all the procedures in the preclinic, and you have to apply the whole theory in practice, you learn to make plasters, silicones, restorations, take impressions, etc,

In this subject they also teach you the different specializations that exist and a specialist from each area comes to tell you, what he does, what the specialty is about, i think that is good and interesting, and that it helps you to be sure of what you want and what you would like specialize in. In addition to all this we learn different pathologies, the most common, the risk of factors of these and how to avoid them.

I really like this subject because it introduces you to dentistry and you realize if you really like dentistry, because you do things that dentist also do.

      My favourite website is www.masquedientes.com is a blog where you can find much information about the career of dentistry; you can also  watch videos of different things like tutorial for students where they teach you in an easy way , there are videos of how to make alginate, plaster, dental insulation and many other things. this blog also has many guides that can help you study and many summaries that are very easy to understand.

      This blog has different sections like news, one part where you can write your opinion about controversial topics in dentistry, you can read interviews with important people related to dentistry, and famous dentists. It also has a section where you can practice taking tests, that is the best.

       in this blog you can also  find many tips to help you study, and it recommends you many apps so that you can organize your time, apps of anatomy, etc.

I like this website because for the subject of skills, this website helps me a lot, because thanks to it, I could do all the practical assessments well, and I had good grades.

My Favourite Place in Chile

My favourite place is the Queulat National Park because it is a beautiful place where you can see the wild nature of Patagonia, since it is not intervened by the human, also because I have very good memories with my family there. In this national park is the enchanted forest in which you can find species such as condor, puma, pudu, guiña, black carpenter, among other species, as well as native flora.

In this park is also the Ventisquero colgante, in which to get there you have to cross a 3300-meter path, where you have to climb a hill, there are also other trails, to reach the lagoon that is under the Ventisquero, which is the Témpanos lagoon, which is a shorter path of 600 meters.

I've been there about 6 times, with family and friends and they always see new things as there are many other things to do in that park, and I still have many to know.

If one day they go to the Aysen region, I recommend going to see them.
